I appreciate your interest. Thank you. I generally like to tell my inspiration and concepts that I was experimenting with like I mentioned previously. However, I have found that if I get too caught up in "her story" it changes the unique original perception that you had. I am much more interested in hearing what story you get from this picture.

Hi Rebecca. I wanted her to be cloaked or enveloped in her surroundings. It is also a formal pose reminiscent of very prominent classical women portraits. I was playing with conceptual relationships and contrasts along with visual ones.

This is very lovely. I like how her shawl is so similar to the landscape. I would love to know the story behind this painting.
