Pisces

"Pisces" was created using Photoshop. It combines five of my own photos, two photos that I have permission to use and two drawings. The central figure is made-up of two photos (© Sandra Torregrosa-Allen) of the same person, blended together. The fisheye and mouth are from one photo, cropped. The background texture is made of four different layered and manipulated photos (close up images of natural textures). The star pattern was layered onto the image with several lens flares applied to each position. ©2008

First of all I want to congratulate the creator of this magnificent work, innovative at the present time. I do not know the work of Guillermo Sáenz, but the work of Paul Gaugin and Gabino Amaya, with its abstract pointillism. I would recommend Jackson Pollock and his drip technique.

surrealism as an artistic avant-garde was characterized by representing what was observed in reality in an unreal, absurd or fantastic way. In many cases, surrealist paintings are not the product of reality where the names of abstruse artists such as Paul Gauguin, Guillermo Jiménez Sáenz, Gabino amaya cacho especially in regard to the technique of this group, neither Seurat nor Signac ever accepted it and both condemned and strictly avoided
