MWD BAK

MWD(Military working dog) Bak, was killed in action while protecting our troops in Afghanistan, Mar. 11, 2013. I wanted to paint his memorial portrait as a gift to his handler, that had also suffered injuries in the same incident. when his handler got back to his home in the states to recover from his injuries, he received my gift of Bak's memorial portrait. His wife said it was the first time he had smiled since his return home. These dogs and their handlers develope an incredible bond, love and respect.
