My mother once told me that the difference between a western perspective and an eastern was simple: show both a path made of small, white pebbles. Within the path is one black pebble. The westerner will see the white path as a whole, disregarding the black pebble. The easterner will see the one black pebble as the focus from which the rest of the path springs. I love the eyes, and your calligraphy is a pleasure.
