Been biting my tongue on this one. But maybe not long enough. So be it. Why have you joined in with the anger element that appears to be increasing on this site? I feel like the templer knight standing alone on the battlefield facing the onslaught of evil that shall surely perish me as I know retreat is not an option. I hope you have a more pleasant day than the day you finished this one.

You've compelled me to get even 'more real' with this - Not an 'angry pic, per se...
I'm just tired of people telling me to stop smoking weed! Simple, Eh? :D
Still in prog.

OK, I understand. In clinical terms you are progressing nicely. Keep using the method and medium you use to express yourself. At this stage most people will tell you to stop doing this or that and tell you to see a doctor who will almost always put you on an anti-depressant. My recommendation is to get a baseball bat or large stick and beat the crap out of a fence post every time your heart beats heavy in your chest and you feel lost and alone, or simply want to cry for no reason. Has not even been a year yet. PM me when you need to.

I was actually hoping for a comment on my work instead of the condescending shoulder-patting...Are the elements working together?
Does her face look alright? Etc. Thanks, E

Just fine Elizabeth, just fine. Just how deep must you go before you realize that you must climb out all by yourself, or realize you need help? How blind must you become to realize that you are striking out at friends? How stupid must you become before you realize you are wasting your time and ability producing this crap before you realize that you have talent and could actually support yourself through your art? Look at your past works. Look at my suggestions. Look at the work you have dismissed. Look at the work you have actually sold. I am of the opinion that you now need the professional help of a grief counselor and an MD. Please attend my friend. But above all, stop demanding respect. Respect is only earned every day. Anyone cow towing to a demand for respect is lying to you waiting for the opportunity to stab you in the back when you least expect it. The same is true for asking for accolades or lies. Feel the pain from this comment, deal with it, learn from it and do something you know you must do.

LOL, Carl - I do not want respect,OK? I live in Atlanta and I smoke weed - this is about Atlanta Weed and Hip-Hop Culture.
I appreciate your suggestions and the thing with the Water? I have not forgotten that. I know that this type of work does not appeal to you but
I like to paint what I like to paint. I got a funny bug and decided to go for it. That's how I am.
No, I don't demand your respect but if you are going to critique art on ASC I DO demand a constructive critique.
I've had a bunch of so-called artists here in the Boonies tell me what and how to paint - No More!

When I read the last posts at this forum, I have an impression that there is no more place at this forum for art expressing negative feelings especially anger. I think that art is great way to express your feelings and reflect on them. Everyone deals with anger, sadness, grief and have a dark side, but not everyone feels free to express it and to admit it.

I like a lot your painting Elizabeth. It is emotional and moving. I like a lot that you express the whole spectrum of emotions in your art - both positive and negative.

Interesting... I know you have been posting with the slant of Pary, Festivities...etc... but this one seems very aboriginal or tribal to me... are they dancing ceremoniously, yes.. I can see this... it even has a spirit walking feel to me... I like it, its interesting... :) Keep us guessin, girl!!
