I have worked in the shipbuilding industry all of my working life and during this time I began painting and drawing the various ships that I worked on. I have always admired the work of Heath Robinson and so I thought that a cartoon of these ships might be interesting. At the time there were discussions about whether short fat frigates were better than the traditional longer ones so I decided to draw a 'Cut price short fat frigate cartoon'. I have attached a copy and would be pleased to hear any feedback on this type of illustrations
