I paint in oils and know the principle of fat over lean....so my question is when I am doing detail with a script
ush what medium do I use to thin down my paint when using a script
ush? Thanks for the help.

Hello there,
If you are using a script
ush to add detail to your painting (I assume it is sable hair), thin down your paint considerably using a combination of turpentine (3 parts), linseed oil (2 parts) and damar varnish (1 part). You can change the ratio as you see fit, but there should definitely be much more turpentine than the other two.

all the best,
Joe
