Hi to all...

I received a very interesting commission. A guy asked me to paint his three children's portraits, but with a difference. He wants them in clown outfits and make-up, but one should still be able to recognize them. Nice tall order, but a great challenge! Don't have pics to post yet, but will do soonest! Wish me luck! I was thinking of painting a Halloween piece with costumed kids at my door (probably won't, though)!

What a great commission. We need artists in order to achieve successful rendering of such imagined imagery. Hope you have fun in the process, pain-staking as it may be also.

The finished commission

This is the finished commission from the guy who wanted his three kids' portraits painted in clown outfits, with make-up...without altering their facial features. They had to be recognizable... Was a tough one as I only had three photographs of them to work with. Pic attached and your comments are welcome! Thank you! L

The kids look darling. I love their get-ups and yes, I can see each child for who he or she is.
