I like what you've done here Mike!! You always do such an awesome job on the skies and water!! The rocks may need a little more detail but actually I like them the way they are. The only thing I can see...and of course just my opinion... is that the boat may be a little to large for the size of body of water it is in. But I love it anyway...nice job!!

8) I definitely agree, it's great just the way it is! It is a finished product of beauty.

Mike, you have a good eye for the landscapes, I really like the sky in this one, the pinks in the clouds are a nice reflection of the various color effects you see in the sky.

i love the water...my husband says swimming feels the same as being in high places and i never understood what he meant. when i fall into your painting, i notice the water gives me a slight sense of vertigo...and when i focus on the boat, it stops. not much help in the technical sense, but maybe a clue to you. the water seems so alive, it'd be sad if you put it to the side. shelley

Oilpainter... for my money I would call it finished. If you want to go further with it I might suggest
inging up the detail and contrast just slightly in the foreground, just for a little added depth. I like it as is!

all the best...
