A Singular Creation Showdown

Art Showdown Contest Rules and Guidelines

The contests are free and open to all registered members. To register, please click here.
Each artist can submit only three images per contest. Images are not to exceed 1024KB in size or 2048 pixels width or height.
Entries must be submitted by the original artist or photographer. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of the image you submit.
Images must be appropriate for public display. Obscene, pornographic, disturbing or otherwise inappropriate photos will be removed from the contest without warning. A Singular Creation has sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
A participant can only have one image per contest in the final round. If a participant wins a Showdown, he/she may not use that same image for any subsequent Showdowns.
All participating artists retain full copyrights of their images. A Singular Creation is merely a sponsor of these art contests and will not profit by them in any way. However, by submitting an image to an A Singular Creation contest, you give us the right to display the image anywhere within the A Singular Creation domain and to resize, convert and recompress the photo for viewing convenience and/or faster loading.
A Singular Creation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of a contest without notice if factors beyond control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest.
A Singular Creation is entitled to interpret the Rules as needed and its decisions are final.
The Rules are subject to change without notice. You are advised to familiarize yourself with the Rules every time you participate in an A Singular Creation contest.
The voting process of rating images is a tool to help us select finalists. It is not the final word in selecting finalists. Extra votes by the same user and ip address will be disregarded, therefore changing the results. A Singular Creation maintains ultimate authority in the decision making process.
How Winners are Chosen
We will select finalists (number will vary) at the conclusion of the preliminary voting stage, from all of the images submitted. During the final voting stage, the popular vote (visitor ratings) make up 25% of the final score. The other 75% will be awarded by a panel of three A Singular Creation judges. Each judge will count as 25% of the final vote. The finalist with the best combined score at the end of the final voting stage wins.
