Lush Kate

by enchanted
I took this portrait of Kate for a series she and her husband commissioned. When I showed them the proof sheets, he said, he loved them all! Lush Kate shows a woman rich in spirit with a wonderful voluptous body to match. We dressed up her kitchen so the fabrics would echo her phsyical and spiritual generosity.
Medium: Sepia photogrpah

Hi, I love this photo. She is powerful in her realism! I always wondered why I didn't look like those other "perfect" girls. Then I saw the truth.

I Love this photo. I think she is absolutley a natural beauty...in fact i find her body stunning and senuous .. she is illuminated from within...the negative comments you recieved is just evidence of the superfical world we live in .. and unfortunately is a large fraction... she is a great example of true beauty and the senuality that comes from true love of self and others.. i thank you for this photo.. it is empowering to me as a woman... excuse the typos.. it is one of my art forms..God Bless

What a touching and powerful image. There are more women than not that have this body style and shattered egos to go along with it. It's so stunning and comforting to see one that is comfortable with it and a man who loved her just the way she was.

There is an aura of mystery about this ample-bodied woman. I love the sepia tones and patterns in the photo that have comfortable, old feeling to them. Kate is content in her body and obviously someone else sees beauty through his eyes as well! Isn't that what we all would like? To be truly beautiful to someone? You GO Girl!! :-)

Firstly my name is not Kate. Kate was a friend, and her husband, who adored her, commissioned the photograph. Kate died of cancer not long ago, before she reached 50. Her husband, and her friends all saw her as a beautiful woman. Too bad you can't, but its unrealistic to expect any of my work to please everyone

Kate when i posted my opinoin i am sorry you took it so offensively to it i am just trying to say i do not like this picture! it is my opinion alone! I am just trying to say the picture is very bold and just not beautiful looking to me when i want to see a nude female this is not what i would love to see so i don't see any reason of taking a photograph of this it don't make me want to smile it doesn't appeal to me at all this comment is of my opinion and mine alone! please don't be offended that is not
