Embla

According to Norse mythology, the first humans, Ask and Embla, were formed out of two pieces of driftwood, an ash and an elm, by the god Odin and his brothers, Ve and Vili.
I realize this is probably wood from a Live Oak but I find the name appropriate enough and enjoy it's story.
This particular piece was found in Georgia on Jekyll Island's northern beach.
