I am very interested in how other artists view and use their studio space. I am sure others are curious too.
I am hoping this poll will give us more insight into our own studio space.
This discovery may even help us to arrange our studio to serve us better.

You are allowed to change your vote at any time.

This poll questionnaire has made me realize that I would like my studio to be more in line with option 20 - a spiritual journey and a shrine.
I like the idea of having items in my studio that would inspire spirituality.
These days I have no such items, except for the art piece I am working on right now: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=9711

Many years ago I lost everything in a fire. Here is my studio not long afterwards – humble beginnings.

On the wall is a collection of images to inspire my spiritual painting Sobriety seen here: http://www.asingularcreation.com/Galler ... fullsize=1

On the left wall is a framed picture of an engraving (copy), depicting Jesus Christ.
It is very inspiring. Besides being a reminder of a man of faith, just what an artist is when creating, it was also a marvelous piece of work.
The whole engraving is one continuous line spiraling out from the tip of the nose. The image is the Face of Christ by Claude Mellan (1649).

OK, Wow. I just had a journey of self-discovery while taking your survey.
You asked eloquently 'pointed' questions about 'studio ambiance' from within to without.
My studio is more of a procrastinating prison of half-baked dreams but I know I need to
make a change. You do not want to see my stude - kind of like a trash pit where you
might find the occasional gem...Thank You, E

Carl, your studio is as well-organized and intricate as your brain with just a little bit of mess to show you're human.
If your friends could see MY studio....LOL.

Thanks Carl for showing us your wonderful studio.
In Australia, we have a song about 'every boy needs a shed'. And the photos of you in your studio depicts that Aussie shed impression very well.
Thank you for showing us your place of creation and joy.

E, go on, take a risk, show us a snap shot of your studio.
