This is a nifty site I found: http://coursehorse.com. They have a directory of classes around the city and you can filter by price. I've actually taken some of their art classes and I can verify that the free classes are actually legit, haha. They're good for beginners, so if you're just starting out, it might be worth your time to take a look!
