Desert Sunset critique

Any thoughts and/or critiques about my acrylic painting of a Desert sunset?
Any improvements, execution, etc..

Do you have a reference photo? I like it, but would like to see more upward radiance... usually when sun sets, there is a intensity. To me this calm glow you have here reminds me more of a sunrise... equally lovely.. but different, just the same. Hope that helps.

Jennifer,
Thank you for your input and suggestions! I don't have a reference photo per-se, since this painting is mostly an amalgamation of the numerous trips that I took through the Southwestern portion of the Mohave desert. It was inspired by the many sunrises along the desert of California. And yes, I mis-titled it Sunset instead of Sunrise. I do have other examples on my gallery page, which you are welcome to take a look at.
