hey everybody, i'm new to the site and well, I don't really understand how to navigate on such websites, I don't usually go on forums, I'm here cause of advice from some guy on youtube so i dont know much.
but what i do know, is that i want to improve, i want to improve so bad (though i know these things take time) so please roast me as hard as you can. The more errors you can find

Also. What am I looking at? Say something about the drawings. From what I can see everything is where it's supposed to be. I like the coloring in the second picture. But the first one is too red for my taste.
Red/pink background flower and face. Not working if you ask me. But guess that's just a personal thing.

And yeah, now that you mention it ksart I can definitely see how the colours in the first piece are ruining it, but when I was painting it I thought It didn't look too bad (I thought the colours worked)
But I guess developing that skill(choosing the right colours) takes time practice and studying of other paintings.

It's just a personal feeling if you will. I'm not a very good painter at all. So take my advise as it is. =)

OK but I still think you are 100% correct
Because once you said it's just too red/pink I saw exactly what you meant and thought, how could I have not seen this before.

I have given it some more thought. I strongly recommend you add some upper body to the face. It looks slap on as it sits now. And clean those lines up.
Unless you wanna it to look more like a quick sketch. But I do not think that is the case because the background has so clean line. Maby even blure the background and clean the line in the face.
To set the focus on the face.
