Iguana I found outside yesterday

Made this from a picture I took of an iguana that was sitting in the sun outside where I'm staying.

aww...! I had one of these in my teens! =) So beautiful creatures!
The forms look good, all the bits and pieces are where they should.

In retrospect, I don't think it was a great idea to intentionally create gaps between the color blocks, given where I ultimately when with the piece. I was hoping to do some kind of fractured/neon veins kind of thing, but decided I didn't like how it looked. I think while interesting, it ultimately takes away from the composition. It took so many hours on my crappy laptop to outline each section, I don't think I wanna do the whole thing over to smooth it out :/

I see what you're saying about the gaps between the blocks of color, but I don't think it takes anything away from the piece. If you see it as nothing else, see a technique-refining experience. I like it!
