Hi friends and fellow artists! Been a while since I posted anything. I have been doing my best to do some painting, and am honored to tell you I am the featured artist at Gallery 55 in McCall, Idaho this month. My wife and I took several paintings to the gallery this past weekend (1/4). We came home to Eagle, Idaho on Sunday (1/5) via Idaho Highway 55, along the Payette River, during a snow storm. The values, light, and beauty were inspiring. My wife was driving, because I was snapping photos with my phone out the window for reference. I went to work today and painted this. I call it "Winter Sentry" - it's 11 x 14 acrylic on canvas. Hope you like!
