New as well

Postby chanda95 » Tue Jan 12, 2016 3:02 pm

Hi all,

I am primarily a graphite artist who also dabbles a bit in colored pencils. I am not a professional but I do get commissions from friends every so often. I don't have the time I would like to actively draw but I get it in where I can.

Look forward to interacting with, and learning from, you all.

Thank you!

I added some to my gallery page. I have a few more to upload but will do that in time. I am working on a drawing now..a very sweet one of a boy with cerebral palsy. He is about the same age as my own child and is the son of my friend. I have another in the wings for another friend of mine but I can only work on one at a time! :)

I am still trying to figure out the site and how the forums work so bear with me. I am attempting to figure out how to upload pictures into a message..this is a drawing I did for a friend..he is her favorite barrel horse. Image

He is a real beauty - the subtlety of the markings and ridges on his nose and muzzle are exquisite.
No problem Re:Adding more Art. We would of course, love to see more but don't
stress - your own work is more important. Thank You, E

Fantastic job... Love the capture of light against the horse's sleek coat... and the texture of the fur. Have to say, nice perspective as well. I like the close up look with the slightly subtler distance... great job!
