Midnight escape in moon light

Postby Irina » Thu Jul 19, 2007 5:37 pm

I have on original, wich is
ight blue.. So I just converted it into Sepia. And I'm thinking that it looks more delicate in
own tones...
The young friends I have all love the "blue" variant of the same version. But this hues might work better for other people...

Shell I upload BOTH for printing at IK? Since only one of them is an original oil painting, shell I specify that second one is a computer generated copy, if I do send both images? Or am I waisting my time?

Why not paint a warm toned version of it? Problem solved. :) Erika

Lazy... that's why... See, the way I look at it: I can create something different same time I will spend repeating myself... The question I have is it OK (in art community) to use computer to change colors, and then sell copies of the modified version?..
And wich of the two do you like best?

There was another sepia version before. I'd pick one of the sepia ones. I think a lot of people would pick warm coloured paintings. E

But do you think I can get away with just changing colors on the comp, since the original oil painting exist, anyway?... Because I like the
own one better now, too...
I took the lighter one away, thinking this one is more vi
ant...

like the original. However, for prints, you can make them all variations of color via computer.

I don't see why not. It's your work and they have a different feeling to them. You may even find yourself taking it to another direction. I think it's worth a try. Erika

The Red one

I'm late to respond to your painting(s), but I do indeed like the sanguinary aspects of the red one.

The Sepia toned one has a much more mysterious and intriguing look, its magical, you can do whatever you want to your art, the Sepia tone is very exciting

Both one is nice to me .The magic is by the colors in same painting meanig has been chaned.Red one is telling about passion or some wild desire and blue one is soft and jentle longing ,some peaceful desire.Rippy
