Watercolor paper?

Postby natep0212 » Wed May 01, 2013 10:27 pm

I have recently gotten some watercolor paper and absolutely love the thickness of it. I was wondering if it is alright to use prismacolor colored pencils (saying that they will show up good and not smear and such).

The watercolor paper is thick but it might also
be porous because it's made to soak up some water.
There could be tearing issues if you try to use a
sharp pencil, I think. E

Just watch that pencil tip, OK?
If you're gentle you might get away with it.
I know the drawing will have an interesting texture!

You just wonder when you see good result that you want. The reason behind this is the thickness of watercolor Paper is perfect for Prisma color pencils. Basically, the prisma colors are easily blended, break-resistant, and waterproof. The creativity is displayed when we keep the pencil straight and use light touch on watercolor paper.

Watercolor paper have a special place in the world of art, for they contain a unique dynamic between the paint, water and the paper.
