I did this piece after I took a photo after moving up to Washington. It was done with soft pastels. I have only been doing this a year.
Please critique.. any suggestions, help, critiques are appreciated.. thank you!

This work is very good. Really like the colors and dept. It gives a feeling of peace and happyness.

Very nice. Colors are great. My only critique, like your other image, is to use a finer point for the trees. You really want them to be crisp and clean.

There is the feeling of loneliness in these photos, very deep. I've spent plenty of time in hunting camps, and there is always that feeling in the camp that sort of creeps in after the sun has slipped away. The darkness makes you grope for movement or signs of life but there's none, there's only sounds, weird ones. You've captured the mood of the moment.
