This is a landscape I painted from a photo I took in Santa Barbara.... 6x9 OIL on canvas. What do you think?

It's a nice painting, but I think you could take it to the next level. I would add some detail to the tree in the foreground. It needs some strong lines and greater contrast. Also, the lights appear to be a bit off. I know I am being a stickler, but they are too curved. Just a small detail, but would make the painting cleaner. Overall, nice job.

Hmm thanks ;) yeah i was going for an impressionistic feel... But i do wonder what it would look like if the front tree were darker and the background trees lighter....
