Would LOVE some feedback!

This is a forum where you can post your art work and ask what the world thinks. I am looking for general feedback, nothing too technical. A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hey everyone. I am pretty new to art and haven't taken any classes, yet. I would love to hear some feedback... Thanks!

I have looked at your various pieces of artwork that you have posted here.
what type of feedback would you like? Are you interested in a career in art?
I see you are exploring different styles...your sunflower has a more graphic approach not just in the way you have cropped it, but also in the way you have chosen to illustrate it. I think it is good to explore different mediums and the many ways you can approach a subject....this is good to do. my feedback would be, based on your artwork seen here. I believe you should seek out the best works in books etc. on whatever subject that interests you to paint or draw and look at how they render the same subject and then look at yours work with a critical eye. See where you can improve your artwork and if you can also get some good art lessons from someone who clearly demonstrates ability.....all the better. You have certainy got promise.....keep at it and develope an artists eye.....by that I mean, learn to really see the subject, how it is constructed, perspective, values, anatomy.
If you do this you will improve in leaps and bounds. wesley
