Erika, this is awesome. I love it. It is so dynamic. The face is beautifully done. The touch of color on the cheeks and lips is absolutely
illiant.

Karen, thanks, that's sweet: but please, don't forget to
eath!

Joe, glad you appreciate the touch of colour, I really had a hard time about whether I should add any colour to the face, and if I did, to what extent. I think I'm ok with it. Thanks for the comment.

E, Glad you have stayed with human figure work. It has greatly impoved over the years I,ve been comming here.
This could be your best.

Yeah, maybe because of the rush around the holidays, many people associate it with shopping, and that's fine too.

John, thanks, you may be right. It took me six weeks to finish this piece, much longer than expected, but it's much larger in size than what I was used to. Interestingly, I wasn't able to take on another figure after this one, but I did a very good abstract piece in no time. Now I'm ready to tackle the next figure.

Erika,
You have such a gift, truly inspiring to see your work!
This one is exceptional! i love the movement, the dramatic use of the Red, which is like your siggy :D , but more importantly, the sybolism to me is evident. Great Job Erika!!!
I wish you a life full of achievement and satisfaction in your Art as well as every area of your life!
