I like the colors and the
ush work.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

I like how much you can express in these paintings just with lines and curves, rather than concrete forms.
Just out of curiosity, in the first and last of these, are the pictures accurate in terms of how light the colors are? I'm not criticising, just want to know, because a couple of people have posted here apologizing for the camera flash or glare distorting their colors. I think the very light colors add an ethereal vibe that's pretty cool, but I want to make sure what I'm liking is something that's actually there.

Thank you for sharing your work with us.

I like them ALL, but my favorite is the last one.

=] It actually was, and I was so proud of it and was going to submit it to a gallery, but unfortunately I set it above a heater so it would dry faster....huge mistake...it turned the most disgusting shade of yellow I've ever seen. I was so angry that I poured paint all over it and threw it in a corner to rot!! I almost punched it I was so angry. But it was soooo pretty =] I can just do other ones hehe.

I digress ^^' the light on it were my studio lights so the picture is pretty accurate

Sorry to hear about your last painting. I made a similar mistake with one of my still-lifes. Painting on watercolor paper only works if the paper is *presoaked*. serious curling issues... So I feel your pain. Good to know you're going to do more!

I hate making so many mistakes xD I have literally 12 canvas that I need to paint over because of sealing/overpainting texture issues. I have lots of sanding to do.

Know the feeling... But hey, even Rem
andt screwed up the sealants and such occasionally (i.e. The Night Watch). I take comfort in that.
