I did this drawing in honor of the Native American Heritage Month. It is of coarse a ZUNI WARRIOR Done on Bristol Vellum, 11X14, graphite Clutch pencil 2h, hb 2b,4b 6b. I have been drawing for about 10 months now and would like some critiques on this drawing. Not
ave enough to put up on the "Ready for the Fury" yet. Thank you in advance for your advice!

You have already developed a good grasp of technique and character in such a short time. Did you try drawing from live models? If you haven't I suggest try to do that as much as possible. Sketch as much as possible. I'm looking forward to more.

I love how you can almost see right through the eyes as if looking inside of him. Such depth in those eyes! Wonderful sketch. You are very talented!

10 months? You've got talent my friend! Some gentle critic; The eyes are really good, I like the contrast of dark and light you succeeded with there. I would like to see as big a contrast in the lower part of the face: the area between his chin and hair I think could be much darker. But maybe it is just reflections made while photographing and that it is much darker in reallife? Keep it up!!
