Entered my armor set in my university's wearable-art show and won an award for Material Innovation! Haha! A friend and I walked the runway performance-style, like we were having a conversation in some post-'fall-of-western-civilization' reality, to give the work some context. I even had one of the makeup artists put some fake scars and
uising on my face to match the claw marks on my helmet, so it would look like I was recently in a battle.
The 48 hours beforehand was an interesting experience in the possible range of physical and psychological manifestations of anxiety, but it was worth it!
