Yes, I really love how this turned out. I used an ordinary Uniball Vision Elite Pen and some generic Meade Heavyweight Acid Free paper. It did take a long time...a couple a minutes a day over the course of two weeks. Working with no source material takes longer becouse I have to give it more thought and consideration.

I may just add color to this....we will see...

I grew up on Marvel/DC comics and that is how I learned to draw. EC comics were also high on my list in the 70's. Most of my pen and ink work is directly influenced from those early issues of Warren's "Creepy" or "Eerie". After all these years it's still my
ead and butter...

Tattoo Flash:

A tattoo flash is a tattoo design printed or drawn on paper or cardboard, and may be regarded as a species of industrial design. It is typically displayed on the walls of tattoo parlors and in binders to give walk-in customers ideas for tattoos. Much if not most traditional tattoo flash was designed for rapid tattooing, and was either drawn by the individual artist for display and use in his own shop, or traded and sold among artists. Hand-drawn, local tattoo flash has largely been replaced by professional "flash artists" who produce prints of copyrighted flash and sell them at conventions or through the Internet. There is no standard size for tattoo flash, but it is commonly found on 11x14 inch prints. Tattoo flash may or may not come with an outline, also known as a line drawing. This outline is typically printed on a separate sheet. This is convenient for the tattoo artist, who would otherwise have to draw the linework for themselves.

Most flash today is found on the Internet, which customers can print out and

Boy I really loved those old Warren books! I did a teeny weenie pen and ink a year or two ago of "hunter" from Eerie. It came out pretty good for a doodle on a post it note....
