I would like to share this with you and say that I will most likely do more to it but I don't know what . . .I feel the reflections are wrong, but I can't say exactly why . . .the trees on right got muddied because I finished painting, then realized that the "missing thing" was the reflections-I had'nt put any on the water . . .wil probably go ahead and do the trees over . . .

Mike, your watercolor work is really comming along.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Good Morning

Mike, this is the best so far. A nice subtle underpainting, an effective use of wash. The details are used as a suggestion, just to inform the viewer. This one is really telling me you are starting to "get it".
What I lack in talent I more than make up for with enthusiasm!

Looking good so far - don't give up!

I love your foreground.. that is coming along nicely. I would say that to keep this key, work on the depth of the background.. mute it a little so that your water, reflection and life in the foreground has the appearance of life. You are doing great! keep it up!

Hi there! I do not do watercolors. What Im not seeing is a distinction between the land and the water.
Nice painting though.
