I like the lighting on this one. Not just the lights in the house, but how they glow and light up part of the outdoors.

...about the bigger picture. The painting is a 16"x20" but I don't know how to take it any bigger, and upload it without using my digital camera--which makes the filesize too big. Am I missing something about taking pictures? Maybe use a different program--zip file or something (I really don't know what a zip file is, but would be nice if I could shrink the picture down then blow it up on the site!!!)

This is very well done mspiper! I also love the lighting, great job!!!!!

As for resizing your too large image files from your camera-
You would need to have a photo editing program like the one I use(free, just download) http://www.getpaint.net/ . It's a free program that is easy to use. You can resize your image files easily to show them bigger, yet not go over the image restrictions of this forum (which is less 200kb or less).
Once you have resized your image(just ask me if you decide to download, will be happy to 'talk' you through it), you can "save as" and it will then show you the anticipated file size, which you can decrease if necessary at that time. Sounds hard? It really isn't, but I don't explain things too well.
If I can be of help, would be happy to!

Thankyou! I love the mountains and cabins...don't much like the snow, but if I had a warm fire, some marshmellows and the hopes of seeing a Big Bull Elk...I'd stay out in this mt. cabin in the snow! Smile Thanks again for support and comments!
