you know I like this, beautiful, men do what men do, hard cut but benevolent...but then suddenly, the Eyes! I looked beyond them, behind them to the forehead, I am not sure, so I trust the mouth, he's ok, a good man

hahahahaa Michael,

I tried to compare your drawing with Brian's avatar and I can't see any.
Brian will be happy.

M, This drawing is very good. I think a frame would be in order.

Wow, this is so cool! You've captured the character so well. I feel I know Brian a bit better now. :) Technically is
illiant too, I rarely see a drawing that excites me.

Great job Michael!

If I saw this for the first time and didn't know Brian painted, I would swear he was a sheriff somewhere.

Thanks everyone. I'm really trying to do more complete art and not just throwaway sketches. I'm giving each aspect of the drawing it's time and attention. I'm wearing small cotton gloves to avoid oil transfer to the paper from my fingers. And a variety of faber cassell pencils. I use a kneaded eraser. I'll try to keep this up. It's really good for me as an artist to continue to draw.

This is very nicely done Michael!!!!!
I love the strength of character his face reflects, and as it is to represent Brian, very befitting! :D
Yep...keep drawing...love it!

Hi Micheal,

VERY NICE! I don't know Brian (at least I don't think I do) but he'll be over the moon once he sees this. The style you have is just so fluid and well composed.

I've been slacking this summer with my sketching and you are motivating me to get my pencils out. Thanks,

Julie

nice work. The shading is beautiful. I not sure i would put the sticks in. I think it takes your eyes away from the man. But I'm not that knowledgeable about drawing
