I would agree with Michael about the aqua/green wash, and if you decide to do that I think it will add another dimension to the water...giving more depth.

Never paint horses with one eye only,

because your horse will tell you off like mine. When I did some changes to the ocean, thanks of Michael, I looked at my painting and noticed, that my horse looks like a donkey. Oh, Gosh! Something was not right with the head and neck.
I am sure , that after corrections my horse is a horse , not a donkey.
Barb, I pay a homage to all artists who paint animals. It is really very difficult theme. I must learn how to paint horses and doggies. I must. When I painted the first horse( black) , it wasn't that hard but to paint this color horse was very difficult for me.
