Hello everybody!

I posted this picture in an "Art Discussion" post because it's one of the paintings I'll be presenting in an art show in October. I had a lot of fun making it and I would like to know what you guys think about it.

It's mixed media: acrylics, oils, and collage. It was inspired in the Carnival of Venice, Italy.

I'm sorry for the picture...I'm not a very good photographer  ...

apparently no one has a comment.....I like it A! I like the way you detailed the figures but not the plant life....the thick swirling paints show a lot of boldness on your part...Like you say.."in your face"...I like the character here.....good work!!!

I love it. The contrast between the figures and the background is fantastic; you get this great lively mood with the vi
ant colors, and these little dressed-up figures are just getting swept up in it. Fantastic!

Thats a very good idea based on the fact that we all liked the painting and it really seems to be very comfy for you to do it this way...And most importantly....You are Happy creating this way...its YOUR style...and it works...no one else can do it like that...Good tidings ..

Thank you! I'm starting a new one following the same pattern of boldness of color, with lots of texture and feeling. I'll show it as soon as I have it done. I'm very excited because I'm going to experiment with acrylics...hope all goes well!
