Great start.

I agree, I would make the clouds more 'stormy'!

Title... The Magic Castle.

In German would be better. Die zauber (means 'The Magic' but don't know the German for castle!!!!! LOL

Die Zauber Colditz! HAHAHHA

Everything is ok only ,you have to check on with perspective of the castl. The sky is lovely. You can add some texture on the ground using pale blue. Ground is too wide , for that reasion your composition might lose the focuse of the castle.Best luck

Beautiful start and can't wait to see it finished!!! I agree that the sky should be a little more "stormy"...would give the castle more of a mysterious, eerie feeling. Nice job so far!!

Well, this is all the farther I've gone. Bad case of painters block....haven't picked up a
ush in two weeks. I finally got something done.....changed the sky and put in a bush and a couple of trees. Hope to have more soon?

Brian... might I suggest an elderly man walking his horse back to the stable before the storm. Seems to be the setting for it. I like it so far.

Love the castle, and I like the additions. What are you planning for the foreground?

Great job on that sky...love it!!! Curious to see where you go with the rest of it. Like the horse idea as I think it could only add to what is already a wonderful piece of work!!!

Thank you and thanks for the suggestion Bruce.
Menolly...I have no idea where I'm going with the foreground. I dove into this one without much of a plan but eventually something will come to me. I'm just going to wing it for awhile. :)
