Spartan, I really like your pink mountain and Snowy Bridge. I think it's a great style, paint more of these!

Spartan

Postby BAReam » Thu Jun 12, 2008 11:36 am

I'm very much with Ericka on these, but frankly I don't really care for the third. The composition and point of view is, well, a bit passe'. Generally; subject as a central mass doesn't really float-my-boat. In my opinion, the "golden triangle" of composition is altogether passe'!

all the best... Bruce

Oooops.... my mistake; the first is the better of the three{in my opinion} ,,my comments were regarding #3

THANKS KRYSTA FOR YOUR COMMENTS.
I ACTUALLY HAD NO INTENTION OF PAINTING MOUNTAINS.
I JUST SPLODGED SOME PAINT ON A CANVAS AND BEFORE I KNEW IT THERE WAS A MOUNTAIN.

THE TOP PAINTING IS PERCH ROCK LIGHTHOUSE,NEW BRIGHTON ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE (TO WERE I LIVE) OF LIVERPOOL BAY.

MIGHT DO A BIT MORE SPLODGING,SEE WHAT ELSE APPEARS.

I like all 3 as well but think my favorite is the first one. Keep them coming!! You have a knack for blending the right colors even in the 3rd one that is a little more simple than the other 2. Nice job!!

Very nice work. I personally like the light house because of the composition, and your used of natural looking colors. The water waves and rocks seem very accurate and well done.
