Krysta, this is definitely your best painting. Your paintings are always narrative and interesting to look at, but this one takes the cake. Those angels are sure having fun, the one with the spiky hair is my fav. I love the way you painted the clouds and the angels' clothes. If I may suggest something: although I see they're just about to finish the grand finale, the gestures of the three in front a re a bit repetitive. Just a bent arm would do it, unless that repetitiveness had a purpose. Then disregard my suggestion. Good job 8)

:D Thank you Erika very much for your comment and suggestion.
I am trying to be a little bit more messy with my paintings after previous comments about my paintings. I am more relaxed, when I paint. I like my angels very much . Three angels are singing and dancing. I will try to change a little bit position of those three not to make them to repetitive. Thanks again Erika for showing my painting here.

Love this Krista!! I think the 3 angels in the front are fine. Think of it this way. All the angels around them are playing an instument that is keeping their hands busy. These 3 angels in the front, center look like they may be singing or may be the end of the "tune" the others are playing and like are reaching up as to acknowlegment the other musicians. I think it works well the way you have them place in front. Great job!!

PS

Piece of useless information I learnt at church...

Apparently, angels are genderless. They may look female or male but have no reproductive organs...because they don't need them. They are busy carrying out heavenly duties.

Sorry about that outburst! LOL

the angels band stand, eh. This looks very original Krystal, I love the faces, looks like they are having a good time, very authentic that way. Are you done with the instruments, that would be the only thing at this point weakening the piece as far as I can tell, they're not bad, just not as up to par as the faces are. Going to be a great piece. danny

Danny thank you for a nice reply. You are right. I need to work on instruments a bit more and I will. Thanks again for pointing this issue.

Krysta, this is your best work so far. You have really come a long way since your first post. Very, very nice. Can't wait to see it finished.
