Hello all. I am Patrick Guerre and consider myself a contemporary abstract artist. I have been painting for about 25 years now but until a few years ago never showed my art to anyone. I have now started on a journey I call POOPT. Painting on Other Peoples Trash. I have found over the years that recycling materials such as scrap drywall, MDF, doors, masonite, etc., has given me a sense of saving a little from the trash heaps. I even have started painting old appliance such as compoters and phones but not posted those yet and may them public pieces eventually. I just finished a piece called Dawn Till Dusk that was done on 6 wood closet doors saved from going to the dump. It measures 61" tall and 242" long. I am today going to start priming another 4 for the next large project. Please check out my site and leave any comments. All are truly appreciated.
