I am not in love with Google but they do have a free hosting service with few strings that is easy to use. up to 4 sites each with a gig storage. Maybe I like them more than I thought I would. I have turned mercenary. This is an economic venture.

You can't beat free... and the site is pretty good. It looks like afew of your images aren't showing up, but could bepointing to an incorrect path.

P.S. You should have entered my annual competition. I think you would have done well. The deadline is today.

Thanks for the comments

I have 3 competitions on the table right now. There is so much to do. I limit myself to about 3 a month. One thing of interest. I do not show or publish paintings that are in jury. Once they have been rejected or shown then I put them out for public view.

Marketing steals from creative time. Website construction is time consuming and I would much rather just draw and paint. Still I need income too.

The images that don't show up? Here they seem to be fine. Could you tell me which are having problems and I will check them out. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Note: some of the external links are still not fully complete. Also linking to outside sites always has problems and Google sometimes has problems resolving large images... I have to keep working on it. Extra eyes help get the bugs out.

These forums help a lot to keep in touch with the outside world. I am somewhat secluded and often work late at night. I have to catch up on a long neglected interest. It's like going back to school.

Again as always much thanks.

critique my web site

Postby eagle1 » Wed Feb 27, 2008 3:22 am

Your web site is truly unique. I like your art. I have a free site and it is at a place called Redbubble. http://redbubble.com They have group themes and I believe your art would work in the Fantasy theme. Check it out.
Great Job.

critique my web site

Postby eagle1 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 10:50 am

Nicoletta,

I am sorry I was replying to piehatt. But You can upload any of your work at the same web site. Its called REDBUBBLE. here is the address for this place.
http://redbubble.com I find it an easy one to upload your work and there are themed groups (example: Colour me Red) and so on. The other advantage is the fact that you can have your work sold with frames or t-shirts or calenders, greeting cards.

Whatever you want as a "come-on-over-and-you-really-want-to-buy-my-art add.

You can see the one I did for asingularcreation.com here:

http://www.zentao.com/recommended-art-c ... vices.html

I'll put you here, top of the page:

http://www.zentao.com/artists-and-their-art.html

My suggestion for you would be a swf file similar to this one only larger: http://photographyofgrace.com/Slideshow ... re170A.swf

I'd also include your mug shot and text that focuses on the keywords and key phrases that define your art.

email to me with the image attachments.

Postby pehiatt » Tue Jul 15, 2008 9:27 pm

You web sites are very sophisticated and beautiful. It is an honor to have such an invitation.

This may take me some time. I have two shows to pack and ship by Saturday. I also have three new pieces to photograph and retouch. New juried show package for August.

I will make every effort to get something too you soon.

Again thanks for the invite.
