Thumbnail image size?

Postby debmartens » Sun Nov 11, 2012 8:27 am

What is the correct image size for thumbnails? My pictures are cropped in the thumbnails, and I would like them to be displayed properly with the full image.

Thanks!

After doing whatever editing you need to
do in your photo application, simply adjust
your image size to say, 900 pixels in width - the height
will adjust itself accordingly, giving you a clear
decent-sized thumbnail of about 787 kb's.
In photoshop, which is my app I use the key command
of control, alt, "I" (for image).
Hope this helps, E.

Hi debmartens,

If you are referring to your ASC gallery, the thumbnails are set to be 150x150px. You can click your images to get to the edit screen. There you will see an "Edit thumbnail image" link on the right side underneath your thumb. If you click that, you can modify your thumbnail image. However, since your images are very wide in proportion to tall, I doubt you will be able to fit the entire image in a thumb, because it keeps the aspect ratio at 1 to 1.

all the best,
Joe
