Green-eyed Bug - about jealousy

Postby ehoeveler » Thu May 14, 2015 10:52 pm

This is something I'd like to do in acrylic- a lot more simple and hopefully, edgy.
That eye will be painted to match the vibe of the bug. :D

This is cool. I like the design. Did you do this digitally? It's going to be fun to watch the acrylic piece unfold.

Interesting. You may be on to something. If this were an acrylic painting, say about 3 by 4 feet, you could sign it as is. It is finished. Think about it.

Carl, are you 'tting moi? I just knew you were gonna get on and hate it!! (because I thought this was really not your thing)
What's gotten into you? Where is the real Carl and what have you done with his body? LOL!
Thank You, my friend. And I'm glad to see that you are open-minded enough to appreciate a totally diff. concept. E

Good is good. Check some of my other reviews and comments on different works. I appreciate quality, skill, color control, consistence of form, style, balance, concept execution, professional presentation, and especially how that vision strikes the eye and mind within the first second of sight. Take a look at Toni's Lions contest winning presentation to see what I said to reflect upon what I mean. Otherwise, lock all your windows and doors because the Body Snatchers are about.

Thank God we all be different. This piece has nice forum and balance and I love the simplicity, E. Keep with it I'm can't wait to see what you do with it using acrylics. (of course as you know E I'm into all art from extreme reality to extreme abstract.).
