Siberian Husky WIP

Postby BYart » Mon May 17, 2010 3:59 pm

Hi Everybody!
Long time no work to post  . Much in Life has kept me busy, but now I have some time to devote to this piece.
It's a Siberian Husky, (ref. photo credit to Rachelrmbuckeye wetcanvas.com ref. li
ary, thanks Rachel!)
The size is 9 x 12, colored pencils-Rem
andt Polycolor on Strathmore Grayscale paper.
This one is the first in a few months for me, so bear with my slow progress as I struggle to recapture my rhythm.
Love the blue eyes on some Siberians, as with this one.
Thanks for looking and comments always welcomed.

Looks to be a real good start. I can tell already it,s going to be a good one.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Shaping the head now. Sorry, I didn't mean to crop off the ears when I was resizing this photo.

Thanks John! Wasn't ignoring your nice comment, I think we were posting about the same time and I didn't see it!

Today's progress-
Pic shows colors a bit darker than in RL. You all know I cannot seem to take a good picture of my work

Working on finishing some of the darks on body/neck fur. Will progress to ears as I finish up on those areas .
Need to put it up until tomorrow.
