My Wolf...In Progress

Hi Y'all! Haven't posted much as we're gearing up for our move to Alaska (we're Air Force!) The house is now empty, save for the stuff I kept back for our drive from Spokane, to Battleground, WA (to visit dh's grandparents) & then on to Bellingham where we're to catch the ferry the first week in Jan! {{{WHEW!}}}
Anyhow, I'm working on a wolf drawing / pen & ink / watercolor & would like your imput!

Your wolf looks very good. I like its face. Does not look nasty . Looking longer at this image I had feeling that wolf is smiling to me.
Show us finished one, please.
Make sure you you are wearing long jones in Alaska. Very cold place.

I like what you have done and your initial sketch is pretty good. If the subject is face on, the most important elements to address accuracy with reference to initial drawing and color are the eyes and nose area. The color here in your visual is very strong
ight and not real but that's ok, I do realize that you are in the initial phases of this work but not sure where you are going? Are you a realist of fantasy type painter? I can not comment any further until I know your direction.
I painted a wolf like this quite a while ago which is include it in my on line gallery. Just hit “Gallery “at the bottom of my post, as it should be there. It is a stone painting,
