Any Suggestions to improve?

This is my 2nd attempt at painting the Matterhorn, this time on a 16 x20 ( 40.64 x50.8 ) traditional canvas. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on ways to improve the light/shadow or any other aspect of the painting. Thank you all!

Nice start. More detail to the objects in the foreground as opposed to the same detail to all objects, would give the painting a better sense of depth. Before I comment any further, I would like to see more progress on the painting.

I love the color pallette so far. Hard to judge since you said it is a work in progress. I want you to be more brave with it and define those dark spots! Dark darks and light lights I think will add a lot to the depth of the piece!

I agree that the color pallette is great! As for the dark spots...yes, maybe they are better to be finalized a little bit...
