Water Soluble Oil Paints

I've resisted oils for years for a lot of reasons. The ones that most people avoid them for. Messy, toxic fumes, long drying time. But mostly for the long cleanup. Too bad you couldn't just use water and you're done.
Ah, you can! I just discovered water soluble oil paints. Decided to try them. Had a Hobby Lobby gift card from my birthday, so perfect time to do it.
I experimented with them for awhile and decided to try and do a painting. I painted over an acrylic piece that I wasn't happy with. This is what I have so far. Still working on it. Feel free to comment. Carl! Let me have it!!

Added color to the hills and rocks. Lightened the sky to bring out the distant mountains. Put in some mist from the waterfall. Coming along. Not the best picture of it. Took it with my cheap camera.

Lots of changes! I decided that it was a bit dull to have the waterfall coming straight down, so I gave a little angle to it. I took out more brown. Was way to much! Added more grey tones. Then the big metamorphosis. I turned it into a wildlife painting.
It just wasn't interesting enough. It needed something. Bears! It needed bears.
When I decided to do THAT I had to change that whole left area. Couldn't have shear cliffs. How'd the bears get there? So, that got changed too.
I'm calling it done and posting on "Just Showing." What do you think?

To add the bears was a great idea! I like them! Now the picture looks great!

Looks so great. This subject is good, and more exercise you will be better. Ps, in the facet of color, you can do better.
