Minstrel Of Loneliness

Postby johnwalkeasy » Fri Apr 15, 2016 3:17 pm

Hello, John here.
I took a couple of days off after completing my last work. Now it's time to move on. My next work will be called
"Minstrel of Loneliness"
The work will be based on a Human Skeleton. It will be around 36"tall. It will be built using Steel & Bronze.
Steel 16ga strips, Steel nails and Silicon Bronze welding rods. Welded with DC Strait Pol.

In stead of calling this the head. I'll call it the skull.
And what I am doing here. Is building the skull in three sections. First one being the main head. The 2nd being the face.
The 3rd. being the jaw.
And in building a piece of sculpture You don't worry to much about the details. You could look at a
1000 skulls and the details would be different. But the overall form of all 1000 would look the same.
The details will come.

Teeth are welded on inside so that they have a space between skull face and teeth. This gives a more skeleton look.
