Definitely not too odd. Everyone sees things differently. As long as you don't do odd just for the sake of being odd, everything will make sense.

Thanks for the feedback. I feel more comfortable using an exaggerated style. I may attempt to create a watercolor and ink painting using a similar style. Do you think that would work well?

Yes, color will definitely do your style well.

Good start. I would clean it up a bit and work on reducing the negative space.

Right, I've got a couple of ideas on reducing the white space, we shall see how they turn out.

I like the element of surrealism.. particularly the spindly guy with the spoked wheel head... anyway... I think the color is a good add... (It appeared watercolor) I agree with Joes suggestion in this one RE: composition and negative space - However, overall - like I mentioned on your other posting, I really think dynamic strong lines will help make the image stand out...

for example - look at the dynamic application of some Comic Art - such as Sylvestri. Im not saying make your peice look like comic book art, quite the contrary - make it your own! Look at the way the ink lines make whatever the form is, POP from the page.
May your world be painted in the
Brightest of colors!

I like where this is going! I agree with the alteration the negative space. However, I do like the use of splatter, maybe transfer that over to the smokey grey areas? Great work though, I love the surrealistic feel!
