Hello Mike,
To begin with, We need to drop the money thing. Let,s think about the art work. We can make money painting houses. A lot of it. Or perhaps we can get into the stock market. I think to many of us are truning art into a racket. But then I guess it,s already a racket. And we buy into it. Sometimes I think art is dead.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

I too believe art is dying, if not dead in most parts of the world. This is why I am starting this foundation, for the good of mankind! However the one thing I know is fashion in NYC is alive and flourishing ...

Remember the seen in The Time machine. When rod Taylor picks up a book and it falls apart. And saids "Yes this does tell me a lot about you"
What will what's left of our art tell the beings that will someday land on this world. indeed.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.
