Missing everyone!

Postby BYart » Tue Mar 09, 2010 11:45 am

Hi All,
Just a quick note to let you know I'm alive and kicking
I'm making some major changes in my life right now and the process isn't allowing for much focus on my artwork, but all is good and I miss everyone!
I hope everyone is well and is creating up a storm! Can't wait to catch up very soon on everyone's wonderful creations!
See ya all soon!
Changed my avatar to a past piece I did on a wolf, reflecting my inner strength and determination to this new challenge. Will update soon as time permits.
I'm well, just very busy.
Barb

I'm back 8) , and have missed you all so very much!
I have moved lock, stock and furkids  back home to the SW.
It was a long trip, but with my son's help driving my other vehicle, we made good time. Dogs are fine, even the almost 18 year old(Bday this month on the 21st) Andy(Airedale). They did very well on the trip home and are enjoying the warmth and sunshine...boy have I missed this area!
Am still settling in, unpacking and setting up my studio.

I am also planning to have my Mom move in with me...she cele
ated her 81st Bday earlier this month....and i was able to make it in for that!

I am so impressed with all the wonderful art I am just catching up on...you all are so very talented!
Now...off to view some more....

Barb, Happy to see you back. Hope you can get some rest after your trip. moving to a new place. Or back to a place you loved. Is a new beginning. And in doing so. We can take the good things with us. And leave the bad thing behind. I wish all be best for you and your mother.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Thank you all so much!
I hope to be able to get back to my art very soon. Right now I'm doing a bit of remodeling to the house to better assist my Mom. She is on a walker, so I am remodeling the bathroom, and adding "handles" through out the house to help her in maneuvering around a bit better.
Long story, which I won't get into here, but just know that she has been through alot since a fall 3 yrs ago.
We had been astranged for many years. Now I feel as we have been given a second chance at the Mother/daughter relationship we haven't had before. God has blessed me with this opportunity to reconnect with her, and I couldn't be happier.
:D
Having Mom back in my life, being this close to my son, DIL and grandkids...well...what can I say...I'm in Heaven!

LOL, Erika...you and I are on the same page...cannot wait to do a portrait of my grandkids!
