I've been playing around with a much looser style and trying to refine it so I get the best of both styles that I work with. This is my first attemp at that. Any feedback, good or bad is very welcome. Thanks

Regarding the painting "Bayfield Inlet", the artist says that he is experimenting with a looser style. If this is true, and this is his "looser style", his pre-loose style must be totally photo-realistic, looking like a photograph. Photo-realism really went out with the invention of the camera, for the most part. I think what the artist has done here is an extremely fine picture, with the right mix of firm and "loose" to make it a real work of "art". I think it's great, he is obviously a professional painter, and high-class good. Starr, member.

That is a beautiful painting. I really like the reflections in the water.
